If you choose Save Normally:

The saved file includes a record of any cutting or pasting you did and of the original location of any material you copied. 

The movie plays correctly according 
to these changes, but the stored file 
does not include any new or 
changed material. If you copied 
segments from other movies, the 
new movie can be played only if 
the original movies are on a disk 
connected to your computer.
